Sunday
It's been a lazy day here in paradise; my heart is happy from the events of the day.
Fresh bread from my Savior in the wee hours of today warmed by His love and my first cup of strong, rich coffee.
Breakfast with my sweetheart....as we looked forward to worship and fellowship.
A pleasant journey to the church sanctuary....how many times in the past 30 years have we traveled this route?
Smiles and hugs as we were welcomed to worship and welcomed home. Thank you Lord for my brothers and sisters in Your body, the Church.
Conversation laced with love and laughter as we lingered with friends.
As we drove away our conversation was filled to overflow with the joy of the Lord as we relished all that had transpired in the two hours just past.
Oh Lord thank you for calling us and guiding us as we say yes to you. Thank you for loving us in a million different ways in our day to day lives and help us with the power of your Holy Spirit to keep this "attitude of gratitude" in the days and years to come.
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? Yaweh is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never grows faint or weary; there is no limit to His understanding. He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. Youths may faint and grow weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who trust in the LORD will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31
"Thy Word I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against Thee." Psalm 119:11
Love you,
Judy
