Calling or Craving?

Hello dear ones,

Tuesday.

Do you know how much you all are blessing me ?

Your  posts and comments in response to Holley's questions mean so much to me.

This week it is about our schedules as it pertains to our God-sized dreams. A request to examine our calendars to see where we may be sabotaging ourselves as we journey toward God's dream for us.  Is there something we need to take off our plates?

Ironically, what I need to eliminate is time on my laptop :  those minutes that I get lost in my email, subscribed devotions, and FB that truly aren't bad but are keeping me from all I might see and hear from Him in regard to His dream for me.

So I'm here asking you to keep me accountable as I commit to His schedule going forward.

Boundaries need to be put in place.  Hmmn - not a new frailty is it Lord?

Father God thank you for calling me and for working out your perfect plan in my life. Help me to eliminate any and all roadblocks I have erected that are stalling my journey.  Thank you for Your Holy Spirit that checks my stride and is quick to let me know when I have wandered away from Your safety net. Help me Lord and all my Sisters to "Be still and know that You are God"......to prayerfully come into your presence....to listen...and then to do as You say.  We love you and are expecting more than we can think or imagine!  Amen.

Thinking of you, each one, and praying that you will join me in being still, listening, and then:
putting feet to His instructions.

Hugs,

Judy

  1. Judy,
It's funny how we are so close in our thinking! I also need to slow down and really hear what God is telling me to do. Being still is so difficult. I will pray that you will find rest in the strong arms of God as you continue your journey and your dream.

  4. I love the idea of stillness...away from the computer. :) I had a moment last week where I just had to get away from all things social media, and it ended up being a great afternoon of reflecting and considering my purpose. (And I played with my girl all afternoon, too...which was so good for both of us!) Praying that God will show you where those boundaries need to be. Blessings! :)
