MEET ME ON THE PORCH

Wednesday morning in paradise and I'm sitting here in my study thinking of you friend.

I'm wondering what you're passionate about and how that passion is evident in your life.

I'm wondering what you've learned as you've traveled this road of life.

I'm wondering what makes you smile and what makes you dance.

I'm wondering how you've learned to make lemonade when life has thrown you lemons.

I'm wondering who inspires you and why.

I'm interested to know, at this point in you life how you manage your thoughts and your time.

I'm wondering, what is the best and the worst of being the age you are.

I'm wondering about you.

I imagine us sitting down together on a porch facing the Gulf of Mexico sharing the answers to these questions and more.  Wouldn't that be delicious, the sun making its descent in the western sky, the sound of the surf lapping against the sand and you and me sipping our coffee (maybe you're sipping tea) and encouraging each other onward in this gift of life in Christ we've been given.

This space will have to be our beach my friend.  Will you join me?
